Historical Experience of the Participation of Youth Movement in Ecological Civilization Construction in PRC

Since the founding of Peoples Republic of China, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, organized by the Communist Youth League, the youth movement in our country has made significant achievements to promote ecological civilization construction. Its activities consist of three stages: the afforestation of the youth when new China was first founded, tree-planting and protecting of the youth at the initial period of reform and opening up, as well as youth eco-friendly activities in the new era. This article summarizes the historical experience of the participation of Chinas youth movement in ecological civilization construction, which carried out ecological construction in accordance with the overall work of the party and government, focusing on youth education and the requirements of the times to carry out ecological construction and innovating the organization operation mechanism. A summary of these experiences will provide a reference for further promotion of the public participation in ecological civilization construction, especially the youth group.
